Julianna M. Walters, 33, of Freehold was arrested for taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and receiving stolen property, Washington Township police said.

A car dealership on Route 46 in Glouchester County reported a vehicle stolen on Feb. 12. The next day, the vehicle was left without keys or a license plate in a parking lot in Hackettstown (Warren County).

A receipt from a wholesale store was located in the vehicle, police said, and membership was linked to Walters, who was a former employee of the car dealership.

An investigation by the Washington Township Detective Bureau found video footage of Walters purchasing the items on the receipt and operating the stolen vehicle, police said.
